Tool Description

This is a Packeteer PacketShaper specific tool that enables users to configure/modify SNMP settings (specifically syslocation, syscontact, and sysname) on the PacketShaper WAN Optimization appliance.

Commands Executed

setup snmp syslocation <snmp_sys_location>

and/or

setup snmp syscontact <snmp_sys_contact>

and/or

setup snmp sysname <snmp_sys_name>

Deployment Instructions

Shutdown the ZipTie server and client
Unzip/untar the downloaded file into the directory (e.g. c:\workspace\ziptie-server)
Restart the ZipTie server and client

Requirements

Required ZipTie Version: 2007.12
